My Journey to Clear Skin

As I gazed into the mirror, I thought, damn, I look good. This has been a long journey! The battle of acne and scarring had taken its toll on my self-esteem. Many others suffer the same issue, which was a significant factor in my decision to create my line of products. Though the ingredients were natural, I soon realized I needed something specifically formulated for my delicate skin. Thanks to a suggestion from my brother, I formed a product tailored to my needs.

After researching, I identified my acne was hormonal. After adapting my lifestyle to accommodate it, I evaluated my skincare lineup and realized that essential oils weren't compatible with my skin. I traded in my Lavender Soap Bar for the Naked Soap Bar and unearthed Oregano Oil, a long-standing ingredient in my kitchen.

Many people use Oregano Oil as a home remedy to boost their immune system and ward off colds. Oregano Oil is potent and has been shown to be more effective than antibiotics and can be beneficial for the skin.

I blended two mixtures using Oregano Oil: Grapeseed Oil and Oregano Oil in a 1:1 ratio, and Castor Oil and Oregano Oil in a 1:1 ratio. Grapeseed Oil is rich in linoleic acid, which helps to fortify the skin's protective barrier, minimizing redness and inflammation associated with breakouts. Castor Oil can be used to hydrate and cleanse the skin, helping to keep it looking vibrant and youthful.

Following a switch-up in my skincare routine, I gave my skin some time to adjust. Every morning, I washed my face with my Naked Soap Bar and applied the Oregano Oil & Grapeseed Oil mixture. At night, I used my Naked Soap with the Oregano & Castor oil blend. After six months of regular use, my skin improved drastically.

I also changed my diet, increased my water intake, and kept my hair pulled back off my face. Eventually, I phased out the Oregano Oil Mixture to Raw Shea Butter for moisturizing. After cleansing, Shea Butter leaves my skin feeling fresh, healthy, and clear.

My journey taught me three essential points:

  1. The skin mirrors the body's interior.
  2. Keep my skincare routine simple and straightforward.
  3. Making improvements to one's lifestyle is fundamental to attaining desired skin results.

Everyone has different skin types and challenges within their body, but if you properly nurture your body and get to the heart of the predicament, you can reach your skincare objectives.
