5 Things You Might Not Know About Me + Natures Karess 💫

Running a handmade business while juggling life isn’t always easy- but it’s always worth it. I wanted to share a few personal truths behind the scenes of Natures Karess—not just to tell my story, but to remind you that whatever you're dreaming of… It’s possible. 

🌿 1. Energy matters to me- deeply.
I don’t touch or make products when my energy is off, I’m feeling low, or I’m not in alignment. I believe in energy transference, and I’m intentional about what goes into every bar, bottle, and blend. If it’s not made with love, prayer, and clear energy- it’s not made at all.

🧼 2. I started making soap back in 2016.
It started as a personal solution- mainstream soaps weren’t working for me or my family anymore. What I thought would be a few DIY recipes turned into a full-blown passion and purpose.

🌀 3. Natures Karess began as a spiritual blog.
Yes, really. I built a full site to share my spiritual journey- right before my launch date, I realized some things are meant to be sacred and held close. I rebranded, shifted focus, and created a space where I could honor my journey without having to explain it all. That decision led me straight to what you see today.

🔥 4. I had no idea how to start a business- I just started.
No roadmap. No funding. No formal training. Just faith, Google, YouTube, and determination. I took messy, imperfect action and learned as I went. And I’m still learning every single day. If you're waiting to "have it all together" before starting something, let me be your sign to just begin.

💖 5. I’m a single mom to a beautiful daughter with autism.
I work full-time from home, I’m her primary caregiver, and I still show up for my business. Some days are harder than others, but my “why” is powerful. I built Natures Karess around my life- not the other way around—and that flexibility and freedom fuel me.

If nothing else, I hope this reminds you that there’s no such thing as the “perfect” path. Your journey is yours. You’re allowed to evolve, pivot, protect your peace, and still show up for your purpose.
